as a continuation of my last thread, posted only minutes ago,

what should i check for when buying a tray/oem intel 1155 processor?

You really want to go that route? Retail box units come with a free heatsink and three year Intel warranty. With oem, you are at the mercy of the vender; you'll be lucky to get 90 days.

If you are set on getting an tray processor then you are going to want to ensure the markings on the top of the processor are clear and havent been damaged in anyway and that you can read the serial number for the processor. Also make sure you are getting the processor from a reputable company.

Also, use a UV light to check for certain bodily fluids. You never know.
