I am considering upgrading my video card from a radeon 4850 to a SAPPHIRE Toxic 100282-2GTXSR Radeon HD 5850 (Cypress Pro) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 . Will this work with my older system?

cpu Intel core 2 duo E8400 Wolfdale 3 ghz lga 775
motherboard Gigabyte ga-ep45-ud3p
6 Gb corsair cm2 pc8500c5
soundblaster x-fi xtreme gamer sound card
antec signature 650 w psu
plextor px-850 dvd
Western Digital 640gb hard drive
Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 512mb 256 bit gddr 3 Pci 2 x 16
Asus mk241h monitor

I use this as a gaming machine. I play a game called Over Flanders Fields which is a World War 1 flight simulator based on MS Combat Flight Simulator 3.

Is the power supply sufficient?
How about the cpu?

Thanks

I decided to try the Sapphire radeon 5850. My next question is I am replacing a Sapphire radeon 4850 with a Sapphire radeon 5850 will I need to uninstall the old drivers or is this simply a matter of updating with the new drivers. If I need to uninstall do I have clean the registry as well? Thanks a lot for responses.
