I am looking for a laptop, minimum harddrive space, no serial ports
required, CD/DVD but I require a MacDonald Interface or an adapter from USB
at least. Screen size is nice but not that important either.

Has anybody seen such a beast?

The MacDonald interface is defined by the Electronic Industrial Engineers
board.

Thus it is named the MacDonald Interface because it is an E.I.E. I/O

This is one of those specialty interfaces that will not be found on
consumer laptops. You might work the problem backward starting with the
vendor of the equpment you want to connect; they might know of the
source for industrial computers that will have the device.
