Looking to upgrade my processor, and would like to get one of the cpus I listed in the title. However, they are not listed on the Asus wbpage as being supported (the highest is the 970). Is t here reason to believe that those two CPUs aren't going to work, and does anyone have any expierience with this combo?

Wow, thanks for the super quick replies.

Going to contact support, I was mostly intereated in theBE Phenoms, for the unlocked multiplier, but it sounds like the 970 might be more than what I need for a decent gaming box (currently using an Athlon II x3 445)

So i got a reply from Asus, and they said that the processor hasn't been tested, ao they can't guarantee it will work. The 975/980 have the same deneb core and the same wattage at 125. On newegg the BE editions have a much better warranty, which is a major reason why I'd like to get them over the 970. 3 years over 30 days seems like a no brainer

Hi,
I don't know if this helps, but I have a M4A785TDV-EVO ASUS motherboard and I'm running a Phenom II X6 1100T overclocked to 4.0GHZ and I haven't noticed any hiccups.
