Help with graphics card choice

Hi. I have a Dell precision T7400 with dual Intel X5482 3.2. Its also has two PCI express slots and a 1000W power supply. I am looking for a graphics cards to run games in high detail. Can anyone offer a suggestion? I was thinking a 5850 or 5870 or even two cards. I would like to have triple monitors. thanks for your help.

For three monitors you should definitely get an HD6970/6950 crossfire.
