Ok i took out the dust, reapplied the paste, reassembled not its good, between 40 degrees to 60 on load which is fine. Also i took out the fanmate2 dial and let the MOBO control the fan speed.

With an ASUS mobo im using Qfan, but it seems the cpu fan is on full blast, so i dnt know if what i done moved temps down or its cos its full blast lol, ganna play around with bios settings maby turn qfan off and see what happens,

also why was the previous thread closed? the matter had not been resolved, and thanks for all the help guys

A thread gets closed if you select "best answer" . qfan should control the fan speed and throttle it up accordingly. for this to work your cpu fan needs to support this feature, should have at least 3 pins to sense fan speeds. Its possible the wire that senses the RPM may be broken/disconnected/bad solder joint.

hmmm its not adjusting speed, i may reconnect the fanmate to move it around,

is it an issue if its on full blaste all the time, its not that noisy tbh, and over summer if it keeps it at these nice temps im kl lol
