Hello,
Trying to add an Asus Xonar sound card to my Dell xps-9100 computer. Card needs a 4 pin molex connector for power but power supply seems to have proprietary Dell connectors Anyone know where I can get a transition cable?

More about : xonar sound card power

Which card? I'd imagine its one of the PCI-E ones, as the PCI cards don't need the extra power. You could try to get the PCI equivalent card, if you have a free slot avaliable.

Other then that, yes, you'd need some form of converter cable. Whats the PSU? I know Dell uses some cheap PSU's, but I can't imagine they are using non-standard connectors anymore...

there are two types of Dell connectors labled p8 through P11. The smallest one is a two pin female and the largest a 6 pin female.

I'm goin gto see if the fan has a standard molex and if so buy a splitter to go from the power to the fan and the PCI-E card.
