HDMI/DVI on Gateway 420GR

I hope everyone here is enjoying the holiday season and is looking forward to the new year.
I have an old Gateway 420GR with upgraded memory. It serves me well in my retirement. However, I have recently taken an interest in trying to connect my computer with my first high definition television, it is a 42" Samsung Plasma and its a beauty. Now I am hoping that there is a graphic card out there which has HDMI, preferably, on it or DVI which would fit in my computer and make it sing its peculiar song.
Can any kind soul guide me in these treacherous waters?
