From what I've seen in reviews and in my own research both are excellent monitors, and for that price you definitely got a sweet deal.

I just purchased the SyncMaster 783MB last weekend (the same exact deal I think) and am very happy with it so far.
I'm using it at 1024x768 with 85Mhz refresh rate and everything looks good. The MagicBrite button is a nice touch also. Not to mention the .20 dot pitch.
