Buying a used 9800 GX, good idea?

I don't know if buying used video cards is any good but the guy is offering it me for $60 which I hear is pretty good. I'm skeptical, seeing as how it's 2 years old. I mostly play World Of Warcraft and youtubing. I just got into the computer building scene so I'm not sure how this compare's to cards today, but as I mentioned, it's only to play WoW on high settings.

Ok it is a powerful card but old. For the performance I guess $60 is not bad and if it is guarantied working condition or money back I think I would jump on it.
