Hey guys below is my new build that I have created for music production. Let me know what you think and if I should make any adjustments to say a budget plan. I got about 1,100 to spend on this setup so anywhere around there would be nice. Also for sandy bridge Im waiting for the new MOBO's to hit the market so maybe you could suggest one before they come. What's your overclocking goal?

With a HD 5670 in your system you'll only need a 400W PSU even with CPU overclocking.

With your budget you should have room to get a SSD for a boot/program disk if you want.

Need a copy of Windows 7?

What kind of music production are you doing? If you're doing recording, ensure that you don't need another sound card or an external unit to handle processing or I/O. Some audio applications (like Sonar) will only run with specific drivers.

If you're just doing beatmixing/DJ type stuff or whatnot, you won't need anything special.

Consider getting a fanless graphics card - fan noise can spoil recordings. It's also just kind of annoying if all you'll be doing is listening.
