it saids 350 watt and 24amps on +12v rating

my current psu is 400watt and 15amps on +12v from diablotek

and if its not, would i be damaging anything if i put it in anyways? o.o

thanks for the help

Don't do it! You're asking for trouble, just pony up for a decent PSU. As I ALWAYS say, don't skimp on the PSU-you will find other areas to save money. But don't f@(# with the power! :non:

You should spend more than $50 on the PSU if you want it to survive for more than a few years, if you get a good one it will last you 5-7 years. Stay away from diablotek units, they are pretty bad.

You can pick up an EA650 for only $50 after promo code and rebate, its normally about $65, but if you get lucky with the rebate game its only $50 for now, and will handle any single GPU and some dual GPU setups with ease

Its probably an older unit that was not DC-DC so the 3.3V and 5V rails arent created off of the 12V rail so it can probably output a lot closer to 400W than its 12V rail indicates, but its still not much use for a modern system where 80% of the system power comes from the 12V rail.
