CPU fan Asus Striker Extreme, Q6600, through NZXT Sentry 2

I'm currently running a Q6600 with an Asus Striker Extreme MB and looking to upgrade the CPU cooling (775 socket). I'm thinking of getting the NZXT Sentry 2 to manually controller all of it but can't find a CPU cooler that will both fit the quite restrictive board and be controlled via the Sentry 2. Any recommendations people?

A) why would you want to manually control your cpu fan? when it gets hot during game you dont wanna be screwing with it and when youre out of game it will idle on its own.
