Hello all!

Well, I'm having a few problems with my new videocard. The new videocard is an AMD 6850 Sapphire Toxic(Standard Clock). I am using a Samsung 2280HD monitor. It has hdmi, and its native resolution is 1680x1050 with a refresh rate at 60.

The problems Im having are as follows. Picture is not fitting screen. Colors are off, may be due to resolution problems. I am not sure whether I should be running it as just 1680x1050 or 1080p. Both seem to have same result. Not sure what to do here.

Someone help me please.
Thanks, Bravo.

well it seems that either the hdmi cord is funky or it just wants to put things into 1920xsomething else. ie, not 1680x1050 the resolution i need.

after uninstalling all old video drivers, re-seatting card/cords, and reinstalling only drivers(no catalyst control center), and using DVI i am able to get 1860x1050 that fits my screen.

anyone know why it would be like this? any help will be frilling awesome!

p.s. i did notice that my cases i/o port (thingy where the dvi/hdmi connects to card) the metal part of case may be touching connections on end of hdmi/dvi. would that cause some sort of weird interference?
