Astro A40 system, which sound card?

So, I've had my my Astro A40's (MixAmp as well) for about a year and a half now, and now I have finally built a gaming rig! However, I am bummed out because my onboard audio doesn't support DDL.

My question is this. Asus Xonar Essence STX or HT Omega Striker?

It is important that I retain the ability to use the mic. Would I be able to do this with either sound card?

Also, I mostly game and watch some Blu-Rays. I hardly ever listen to music on my rig.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am, of course open to suggestions as well!

What about the Auzentech Forte X-Fi 7.1?
