Hello, I had a year and a half ago bought a whole new system, purchasing each part separately. The computer worked perfectly fine for about half a year, when sudently in midgame (mass Effect 2) my HIS Radeon 4890 just stops functioning, and would not let me turn on my computer.(luckily i had a integrated gpu on my mobo) I RMA'd the card and got a replacment. The new card ran for another 3 months, before it also stopped functioning correctly. This time round, the card does allow the computer to turn on, but when the screen turns on, all i see is a gray striped screen, which does not change. Is there any hope for my card or do i have to attempt to RMA it Again? I have attampted to reinstall and update my drivers to no avail.
