I have 2 2x4 667 mhz ddr2 memory sticks but i also have 2 2x1 667 mhz ddr2 memory sticks from an old computer i dont use. Can I pair up the memory sticks and have 6 gigs all together?
(Motherboard A770de+)
(Processor Phenom II X4 960T @3.45GHz)
(Ram Kingston and memory from an a6112n?)

Are all of the ram sticks made by the same company? The thing is that if you were to put all of the ram in together they would actually work but they might not work exactly the way they are supposed to. What you want is to have sets of ram and especially with dual channel ram you want matching sets , so yes it will work but it may be a little off.

They may not work in dual mode, but they wil work in flex mode just fine. If there are not big differences in the Voltage, 99% will work. That is my experience. I played with plenty old RAM at home on some old stuff : )

The only problems usually have no name mobos from Dell and other makers...
And with DDR RAM.

DDR2+DDR3 are fine most of the time.
