Just ordered parts for a new system. Now am looking for a good/reasonable priced 19" monitor. Here is the basic system I'm building:
xp2400
A7N8X Deluxe M/B
512 MB pc2700
ASUS ti-4200 128MB video Card
16X dvd, CDRW, FDD, 8- GB HD
Win XP Home
Have kind of narrowed down monitors to the following:

NEC Accusync AS90 $191 Shadow Mask
Max Res 1600 x 1200 @ 55 to 76 Hz Freq Range 31 - 96 kHz

NEC Accusync AS95F $231 Clear Flat Shadow Mask
Max Res 1600 x 1200 @ 55 to 76 Hz Freq Range 31 - 96 kHz

NEC MultiSync FE991SB $273 Super Bright Diamond Flat Aperture Grille
Max Res 1792 x 1344 @ 50 to 68 Hz Freq Range 30 -96 kHz

Samsung SyncMaster DynaFlat 955DF $229
Max Res 1600 x 1200 @ 68 Hz Max Sync Rate 160 Hz x 85 KHz

Samtron 98BDF $182 Unknown specs at Sams Club
Any of the above can be ordered from Dell with no S/H
Thanks

If you're willing to spend a little more for the best budget 19", I'd suggest going with the Samsung SyncMaster 957mb. PCworld.com is currently ranking it #1 in its class. Otherwise I'd suggest your NEC MultiSync FE991SB, also a very fine monitor.
