Purchased a Dell Vostro 230 with a 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® G310 card.

I'd like to set the system up with 3 monitors, 2 will be DVI and the other DVI or VGA.

I prefer NVidia graphics cards - what are reasonable / cheap video cards I should consider?

Sorry to tell but you'll need a dual card setup for running more than 2 monitors on any nvidia card, you'll need a ATi card.

This is what I'd recommend:

Much better than the G310, more than enough for HD playback and suitable for light-moderate gaming

Thanks for the reply.

Question, though - that link is to an ATI card that has 1 DVI, 1 VGA, and 1 HDMI connector on it ... doesn't really look like it's geared to support 3 monitors. Also, I'll be driving 3 monitors that support DVI or VGA inputs only. Any other suggestions?
