Usb not discoverable pop up keeps coming up

I do not have a usb device connected but it still says usb not dicscoverable.. Please help!!!

You plug it in and nothing happens?

You have tried other USB slots, or a different device (camera/mp3 player/phone/etc)?

We could use some more information, such as operating system and motherboard chipset.

Have you checked your USB settings in your BIOS?

There are PCI slot USB cards you can buy for pretty cheap.

I ass-u-me that you are getting a pop up message stating USB device not discoverable after you tried to plug in a USB device.

We do need a deeper description of what you were doing prior to the issue and an itemized list of your system specs.

Give that and a more intelligent answer can be given. The more you put into your description of the issue the more you will get out of the answer.
