Gigabyte GAMA69VM S2 motherboard powers down

I have a 500w psu, the above board, 2 x ddr667 2gb and an Athlon x2 2.7ghz.
I switch it on, it posts, lets me into the bios and within 1 minute switches off.
It then switches off almost as soon as I try again.
If I leave it 10 mins I get the same results
Any ideas?
