Help with my ghost please!

I have a qx9650 with a gigabyte EP45T-USBP with 8 gigs of patriot 7-7-7-20 I play Tom Clancy Splinter Cell Conviction and had a GTX260 Video card and was getting ghost images left all over the screen while playing. I just got a Radeon 5850 video card and still have the ghost images all over the screen any good input? These don't follow me they are left in one place a complete ghost of Tom Clancy in one place. Anyone else have this before?
