Approximate Purchase Date: Asap, waiting on a better selection of 1155 mobos to be re-released on newegg.

Budget Range: 1.5-2k, I want something that will last awhile, if it means another $100-$200 for a massive boost in performance I don't mind spending a little extra.

System Usage: Hardcore gaming

Parts Not Required: No accessories really, maybe a new monitor would be nice but other that that I'm covered.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg

Parts Preferences: Intel 2500k

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: Yes

This is kind of what I've pieced together, not really set in stone but the setup looks alright to me, looking for thoughts and suggestions:

CPU: Intel I5-2500k
Mobo:Undecided, Asus P8P67 Pro most likley.
GPU: 2x Palit Geforce GTX 560 2G, Unsure on this, is the 2g worth it? Seems like a meager price to pay for double the memory.
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
PSU: Corsair HX 850W
SSD: One of the new Vertex 3 120gb drives if they come out in time.
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s
Cooling: Corsair H-70, I know, it's way overkill but I like liquid cooling.
Case: Still deciding on this one, I'm thinking: Antec Nine Hundred
OS: Win7- Home Premium
DVD: Whatever is cheap, I will probably use it once or twice a year at most.

GTX 560 runs cooler even after oc than GTX 570.By Ocing it can reach GTX 570 speeds in no time
Two GTX 560Ti Oced is Two GTX 570's that runs much cooler

Since peeps been waiting this long for the top end i suggest for budgets nearing or exceeding $1.5k to

1. Await Z68 chipsets, Zambezi AM3+ on platform front
2. Await HD 6990/GTX 590 on the GPU front
3. Await the Sandforce SATA 6GB/s SSDs to hit retailers :p

Yep, that's what I was going for. I had 2x570s in my original build, opted for these instead.

We'll see, I don't mind waiting for the SSDs but, tbh, I'm kind of looking to finish on this system asap. Any other thoughts or ideas on my build? I'm trying to finalize it.
