Tried it, but it didn't work.if power supply is connected properly, please re-check all connections are secure, then clear CMOS and try it again..

Don't have another heatsink, but I've confirmed it is the MoBo (used different case fans for the connectors; nothing worked).works like that but only runs on high I suppose.
this is why I asked about the CPU fan....
you can run on high but will not have sensing control or hardware monitor functions in BIOS.
you can try another heatsink/fan and see if that works but odds are it's motherboard time..
