MSI 890FXA-GD65 AMD Socket AM3 Motherboard power question

Good morning,

A quick possibly stupid power question about my motherboard MSI 890FXA-GD65 AMD Socket AM3 Motherboard. There is the 8 pin power connection that is opposite the ram slots that had a black cover over two of the pins. Does anyone have any idea why that would be?

Should be over four of the pins?

If you should have a 4pin CPU aux power cable on your PSU that cover is to get your four pin connector in the right place.

If you have an 8pin CPU aux power cable on your PSU you take the black cover off and use the 8pin cable in the 8 pin socket.
