Typical market life of cards

Hello, how long does a particular video card stay on the market for. Specifically the 5770. Like a year and a half or so?

It varies pretty widely but for a popular card like the HD5770 it should be more in the 2-3 year range. For example the HD4870 came out almost exactly 2.5 years ago and can still be found new, albeit in rather small numbers at this point.
