Problem of connecting dvi to hdmi

when i connected my pc with dvi output to hdmi screen, i could not remove my original vga cable. nor could i turn up resolution to 1800. other wise it went blue screen. the same thing after i set up with dvi-hdmi. when i unplug vga cable, the screen went blue.

Try one of the HDMI inputs as PC would just be VGA.
