System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing the web, schoolwork, video editing.

Parts Not Required: Speakers/headphones.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg or Amazon ( I have no access to microcenter)

Country of Origin: US

Parts Preferences: Intel I 2500k looks good, gtx 560 or any good gpu that fits in budget, 22-24 monitor.

Overclocking: Yes but I have zero experience


SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 or any resolution that looks good

Additional Comments: I would like a quiet PC with good airflow and to be able to play current games for at least 2 years.

You should check out my budget builds in my siggy! The 1000$ one would work out for you. Since you'll be able to switch the 6870 out for a 560 Ti for an extra 25$ or so. Then the total would ACTUALLY be 1000$. After that, you just add another 560 Ti and it would fit your budget.
