Nvlddmkm error

I need to know why im getting this error during game play? I get it after playing World of warcraft as well as with Battlefield 3. I start playing and after a while BF3 minimizes and the only way to get it back is to crash it and reopen it back again. As for WOW, it stays on for about 5 minutes max maybe less and crashes out as well and sometimes does the same thing and sometimes not. ITS STARTING TO DRIVE ME FREAKIN NUTS!!!!

This error below is from the even log.

Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

That's a TDR error.

Also update your drivers before you follow the above link/guide. Then you probably own't have the issue anymore anyway.

Yea ive got the latest drivers for nvidia. But i think i did that but ill have to check and make sure to see if that is set correctly when i get home.

Well, i have reformated my drive and updated windows and installed WoW so far and it seems to be ok so far but its not finished updating the game itself yet. I was playing it for a little bit while it was downloading but ill know more in a couple days or more as i play it a little more. Then i will try BF3 once i install it. So fingers crossed, im hoping and praying it works.
