PC Build For Starcraft 2

Hello,

I'm looking to help my brother build a PC, as he has been complaining about the lag even on low settings
I recently bought him a (Geforce 9800GT 512mb Akimbo) in hopes of solving the issue but it didn't and chances are his CPU isn't good enough (Intel Pentium D CPU 2.80Ghz)

I'm hoping for a good build around $400-$500 (maybe pushing the budget to $600, but would prefer the desired range) that could run Starcraft 2 smoothly at high settings
A build that would compliment the Geforce 9800GT video card as it may be the only salvaged part

What do you guys think?

With a 9800GT SC2 Ultra no AA or High would be fine so if u not thinking Ultra + AA you could actually do with a cheap solution

It's amazing how cheap decent tech is nowadays. The pricewar with AMD and Intel on the lower end sure is good for people on a budget ^_^

EDIT: The X4 840 + Gigabyte 760G $99.99 bundle deal is awesome but it seems like they don't ship to Canada. Alternatively newegg has them both for ($109.99 + 69.99 or $180) do you think its still worth it?
