I am building my first gaming rig and have been putting together the following comp. Any suggestions or ideas for alterations or better prices (or if I left out something important) would be very appreciated!

I plan on gaming at 1920x1080, so if this build is over/underkill then feel free to tell me!

I was about to get that same mob but people have warned me about crossfiring/sli on it because its only 16x/4x. But if you won't have an sli setup then that should suffice.

You might as well just get this, its a cheaper 4gb corsair ram and faster.

May I ask what games you'll be playing and what setting you most likely what to play at? From my experience a 460 768mb can play games on max on 1600x900, but struggles a 1900x1080 res. Also whats your budget, because I decided to go with a 6870 from a 460. If your budget won't allow you to get the 6870 a 6850 is going to be a lot better than a 460(768mb) and there is one for only $165 after rebate. Even if you decided to go with 460 1gb I'd still recommend the 6850 over it as you'll get a bit more frames. Anything under 1gb on 1900x1080 will be choppy from my experience.

The other one thats $160 has many issues from the reviews on newegg so don't walk, run from it.

I would like to be around $700 but $900 is my max. As far as the GPU goes I'm pretty flexible as far as price goes so I may end up deciding on either the 6850 or 6870, thanks for the heads up, but what about something like this http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/ite...

And also go for a better brand PSU.
I suggest a Corsair, XFX, Seasonic or Antec.
PSUs are vital because if it pops, it takes all parts with it. And also cheaper brands give low efficiency so if u buy a 650W you will get like 550W in reality.
