PSU for 6870

what is the psu needed for hd 6870
does the psu had 2 do something if the card is 2 b overlclocked?
i mean if i would have selected coolermaster silent pro gold 600W then for oc'ing the card do i need 2 shift 2 silent pro 700W??

Even considering a heavily overclocked i7 990X, a good 500W + PSU will be enough for a single HD 6870 rig. Thus your selected 600W PSU (which is quite good) will be enough even considering overclock on the card. Go higher (750W or more) only if you plan on adding another card sometime in the near future.
