A GTS 450, HD 5750, or HD 5770 would make for a well balanced system.

The 5770 is more powerful than the GTS 450. However, the 4870 slightly beats the 5770 in most games so you wouldn't really be upgrading (unless that card died or something).

Buy the 450's and save up fo SLI the 5770 Xfires like *** but the 2 450's OC'd into a very nice set of cudas for crysis.

In In Crysis Warhead, the 5770 and 450 run just about even, with the 450 having a slight edge at lower resolutions and the 5770 better at higher resolutions. At 1680 x 1050, they run dead even at 25 fps. The 450's scale better in SLI and tend to be more easily OC'd.
