$230 for an AMD cpu...when you could have gotten a 2500K Sandy Bridge for the same price ? That killed any chances of this build being considered "good". Too bad you didn't come here before you made that purchase.

Hello from what I hear the sandy mother boards are expensive and SATA ports are defective. Also I need hexacore so when I post my PC stats in IRC it says I have 6 cores.

The revised 1155 mobo's with the new b3 chip set are out on the shelves now. Not all of them yet, but newegg has 6 different models of them now. Yes the boards are spendy compared to the AMD boards, but a 1155 SLI/Crossfire mobo can be had for $150...$130 if you go with the Asus M-EVO.
