Hi guys everyone here was very helpful in my previous build so it would be great if I could get your input on a new build.
My boss asked me to build a computer that we could use for running AutoCad, which I'll be using for 2D and 3D designing.
Here are the requirements for AutoCAD
# 2 GB RAM
# 1.8 GB free disk space for installation
# 1,280 x 1,024 true color video display adapter 128 MB or greater, Microsoft® Direct3D®-capable workstation-class graphics card
# Intel Pentium 4 processor or AMD Athlon, 3 GHz or greater; or Intel or AMD dual-core processor, 2 GHz or greater
We have a case, and storage and a 500w new PSU already. So he gave me a ~$400 budget to buy:
A dedicated GPU
CPU/Motherboard
Memory
and a monitor around 20 + inches
After doing some research and surfing Newegg, I created a list of my current choices:
GIGABYTE GA-P43T-ES3G LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard $77.99
