My rig:
A7V266 BIOS Ver. 1002c
Athlon XP 1800+ @1.55 GHz (default of Asus MB FSB being over 133 Mhz)
IBM 60 GXP 60GB
GeForce 3
Win 98 SE2
All drivers updated to latest
When I shut down Windows 98 then turn my PC back on I get the scandisk screen that tells me I did not shut down properly when I clearly did click on start and shut down. There are no other errors and everything else works fine. Granted this is not really a problem, having scandisk run everytime I turn on my computer and waiting 10 extra seconds isn't the worst thing in the world but this is annoying me. Does anyone have any idea why Windows thinks I am not shutting down properly? Is there a way to disable Windows from running that check at bootup? Is there possibly another problem?
