Is this a decent system?

I have decided on buying this system from a company online for a total of $394 with Windows 7:
---
Processor: AMD AM3 Athlon II X4 640 3.0Ghz Quad-Core Black Edition Processor.
Memory: 4GB DDR3 1333 Memory.
Storage: 250GB SATA hard drive.
Optical Drives: Black SATA 24X DVD Burner
Motherboard: MSI GF615M-P33 Socket AM3 MicroATX motherboard with GeForce 6150 chipset.
Case: Black Sentey Classic Series CS1-1397 Mid Tower Computer Case with 450W power supply.
Video: Onboard. Optional Dedicated Card. [ The GeForce 6150 Onboard Video is OK for light gaming. For more regular gaming consider adding something like one of the optional Geforce 9600GTs ]
Audio: Onboard. 6 Channel Audio
USB: 2 Front [lower left], 4 Back [USB 2.0]
Network: 10/100 Onboard.
---
I will be adding a new graphics card, most likely, an ATI Radeon HD 4670, later. Also, I believe the motherboard is compatible with the new AMDs that are scheduled for release later this year. Is this a decent pc for gaming and media given the price? Will I be able to play modern games on decent settings? Will it hold up for future upgrades? There was a time where I could answer these questions myself, when I was more of a desktop enthusiast 15 years ago, but I made a switch to laptops and consoles gaming machines as I was doing a lot of travelling and it made desktop computing and gaming more difficult. I have decided to pick it up again, but things have specs have changed a lot, so I thought would seek other's opinions and expertise. Thanks for your help.

Just a quick glance and i can see they cheaped out on mobo and free PSU with case :(

I would rate any of these chipsets

740G
690G
GF 6XXX/7XXX
NForce 4xx/5xx/6xx

far inferior than any entry level AM2+ out in 2008 due to

a. HT Limitation when paired with any AM2+/AM3 chip
b. Still stuck on PCIe gen 1.0/1.1, true AM2+ had migrated to PCIe gen 2.0 as of 2008

Gigabyte NForce 630a

Quote:
* If you install AMD AM3 CPU on this motherboard, the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0 (5200MT/s) to HT1.0 (2000 MT/s) spec; however, the frequency of AM3 CPU will not be impacted. Please refer "CPU Support List" for more information.

One more quick question(s). I am trying to duplicate your shopping cart, but the rebate deals aren't showing up. Did you enter in some special promo code? Can I just take a printout of your cart down there with me and have them honor those prices?

Thanks for your help. I have built a system and I am very happy with it. I found everything at Micro Center with comparable prices with New Egg.
