im not sure which one to get as my 5770 died on me right now, best of overall performance/power/heat which one would you recommend.

my main reason is gaming but also heat comes to place if its really bad, and drives, im not sure if im gonna have the same driver problems as when i first got the 5770 i heard they fixed it now, but you owners know better.

Better power consumption, performs as good as the GTX 470, lots of display outputs(five to be specific) if you want to set up multiple monitors, improved tessellation performance and amazing CrossFireX scaling.

The 6870 is a good choice. Realize however that its slower then a 5870. If you're going to spend $300 on a GPU get the 6950 and flash the bios to a 6970. I'd only get the GTX470 if you play any of the few games that are PhysX GPU accelerated. Assuming you don't then get the 5870/6950. (why are you buying one that so expensive? They can be found for $240 after rebate.)

You do have the case clearance and PSU run something like this right?
