What is new in Host.exe Version 4.000.146

Nov 15th, 2003

New: Races with fleets with low experience ratings end up with low tax
collection rates, low population growth, and low food production. Races
required to maintain a level of 15% of the best race to have no ill effect.
Must maintain 2% of best to only suffer mild bad effects.

Is this still true ?

If yes could you explain and give tips above that rule.

% of best score ?

I play in 2 games and none use a score.

This idea was dumped by Tim. At least he strongly implied it was! The
idea behind it was to encourage conflict and stop fence sitters, reward
aggressive players. It was too much of an effect though; it might take
10 turns to get a ship you just built to a battle site.

Good question, have await a question or explanation since that time but
IIRC I never read something about here.

Don't know if it is implemented, but if I would expect, that the Exp of
the ships of each race are added and then looked for the best race and the
% each other race have to it.

Think it don't help you much ;-)

Bye-Bye JoSch.
