My internet keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

Hello,

As my title says, my internet keeps dropping off. (Actually now its practically off with flashes of connection every now and then)

The weird thing is that it only drops on my desktop, while my laptop connection is perfectly fine (both are using the same connnection)

Also, my modem does not indicate that internet has gone down. Even if my internet is dropping off the internet light on the modem stays greeen.

Im wondering whether it is a problem on my desktop or i dont know. Any suggestions?

If your not having an issue with the laptop when you have a problem with the desktop, thats would definately point me to the desktop leading up to the same device your laptop connect to. What OS do you have? Did you check the adapter properties and check the status of the connection?
