hdds-1tb segates raid 0 2x2
gpus- main gtx 580 and 5870 2gb

Btw i have all of the stuff but the mobo and cpu.

Lucid hydra allows a gtx 580 and ati 5870 to work together yay

Why mix those GPUs? You can use both in the same system (they won't in tandem with each other) without the Hydra chip.

What do you use that the 580 can't handle? IMHO you should have bought a better system base (Intel i5-2500K) if you sold the 5870, and just never dealt with the Hydra chip in the first place.

Well since you don't have the mobo and cpu maybe i can give you 1 tiny advice.

If your gonna game get the x4 955 and overclock it.

If your gonna render, use photoshop or work with 3d stuff then get the 1090t and overclock it to the 1100t settings or higher.

The mother board is good adn high quality.

Hydra "works" but have you seen the benchmarks with this thing?! The performance is hit and (very much miss) from game to game, because how well this tech works is purely based on the drivers supporting it, which isn't so great at all. Some games actually play WORSE with 2 GPU's using this tech than just 1 of them by itself. Please do some more research and do not use it. I'd rather play with one 5870 or one 580 by itself.
