Asus P8H-61-M LX Motherboard driver

Hey all!

I have just built my first computer. But, I am so confused about something. I have installed Ubuntu as my only OS. I am trying to install the motherboard driver, but I don't know how. When I insert the CD from the motherboard, nothing happens other than it showing that I have inserted a CD.

I click on the CD and I click on the file that says Linux Drivers, but all there is is two files that say readme.txt and readme.ini. When I open the readme.txt file it says: Note: Please update to the latest Linux Kernel for motherboard chipset and components support.

What does this mean? Am I doing something wrong? How do I install the driver for the motherboard?

What it is telling you to do is to update that version of Linux and what you can do as well is to visit the Linux site for any drivers update that you can use for your motherboard.
