Core DUO 800 fsb work with ddr3 1600

will a Core DUO with a FSB of 800 work with DDR3 1600?

It would depend on the motherboard and which version of cpu. Can you list the components that you are talking about , motherboard , cpu and ram?

Says itll support up to 8gb of DDR3 1333. Just change the DRAM frequency to 1333 in the BIOS should run fine.

What happens a lot of times is that when you put ram in the motherboard will run it at whatever the default speed is and if you have ram that is supposed to run higher all you have to do is go into the bios and change the frequency to the speed that it is supposed to be. Once you hit enter on the ram frequency all of the available options come up and it's just a matter of selecting the one you want.

is there a speed of ram you would recomend? need to pruchase ram for this board already have processor.
