I just purchased a Asus VW246H monitor and I am having some issues with it. The reason I am bringing this here is that this is the second monitor I have purchased that had this issue so before I return it I need to know if its the monitor or something else.

The issue is when I take a firefox window and drag it around the screen. Still images appear to be trailing a white background behind the original image until I stop when it catches up.

This also happens in this test where a black box is moving from left to right across the screen.

Is this normal? I purchased two monitors with great reviews and this has happened on both. None of these issues are apparent on my old HP 2007w 20" monitor. Other monitor was a Samsung BX2450

It is a common occurrence with LCD monitors.

This is especially true when a black object is moving across a white or light colored background due to the amount of time necessary for pixels to go from black to white.
