Nneed to know your monitors resolution, the games your playing, and the settings your using in the game.

Is this a fresh load of Windows on a old hard drive? Did you format it first? Are you trying to use a hdd that already had OS and drivers on it when you attached it to the new parts?

Have you installed the chipset drivers and graphics drivers?

5400 rpm hard drive is not ideal for games.

Playing cod mw 2 and black ops, full hd and all on max. Windows is new and everything is updated correctly

Telling us Windows is new and everything is updated means nothing. HAVE YOU INSTALLED THE MOTHEBOARDS CHIPSET DRIVERS(LAN/AUDIO)???

HAVE YOU INSTALLED THE LATEST VIDEO DRIVERS FOR YOUR VIDEO CARD?????

WHAT RESOLUTION?????

Nobody can help you if you fail to answer the questions.
