Ethernet printer not available

Hello,
I Have to restart my computer (with windows 7) or restart the ethernet adapter conection to have local ethernet printer available. This computer is also conected to a wireless network through another ethernet adapter. Is there a setting that will make the computer reconize the printer conection automaticly?

have you set the printer up with a static IP address? you should do that if you havn't.
