Sada 3 to sada 2 mobo

Can I add a SSD sada 3 drive to a sada 2 mobo? Do I need an adapter? If so what are they called " Sada 3 Adapter"?

Yes. You can connect a SATA 3 hard drive to a SATA 2 port on your motherboard, however you will be running at SATA 2 speeds (as you would probably expect).

sadams04 is right. Even that is not much of an issue. Although SSD's are much faster than mechanical drives, not many are that much faster than the max speed of the SATA 3.0 Gb/s interface. So, even if you had it in a SATA 6.0 Gb/s mobo, it would mot actually be much faster than you will get with your rig.
