We were informed by Canon Canada the Drebel is gone, along with the A75 &
A85. I guess I'll have to see what is announced next week

The Digital Rebel is still on the Canadien Canon site.

But so is the Canon 10D! It's still on the Japan site as well, but I was not
able to order new ones. Pentax has a new dSLR to be announced next week.
Canon, Nikon, Pentax will all announce new products next week at PMA.
