The Asus P8P67 and P8Z68 boards now come with physical switches for the TPU and EPU.

If the TPU and EPU DIP switches are physically turned OFF, can the TPU and EPU functions still be turned on via the BIOS? Because my BIOS still lets me enabled/disable TPU/EPU regardless of the state of the DIP switches.

More general question:

- What BIOS settings are enabled when the TPU switch is turned on?
- What BIOS settings are enabled when the EPU switch is turned on?

Manual doesn't say.

My P8P67 manual says the system will use the settings you last set. so if you turn it on in software, you only have to restart. to determine if it's on or off there is a physical led next to each switch on the motherboard that is on if it's turned on. hope that helped.
