Upgrading my CPU

hi there,

i have an asus p6t deluxe v2 motherboard and an intel core i7 920. it's getting a bit old now and i was thinking of upgrading the cpu. what's the best cpu i could put on that motherboard?

You're close to the top of your range; only the higher i7-900s are better. However, they're all ridiculously overpriced compared to Sandy Bridge. You have socket 1366.

No need for a CPU grade. Your CPU would last you 2 years easy without a problem.
